Just another WordPress.com site

My Name is Claudia Reid I live in Miami, But my home base is in New York. My greatest passion IS doing documentaries on things I am curious about. Sometimes I DO go to bed restless because I have to know what is going on with this person and why do they behave that way. Sometimes I try to solve the injustices in the world and people feel they have the right to judge other people when you need to look at yourself. My motto is, before you judge a persons actions, try to figure out why they are what they are and also look to see if you are any better.

One of the main things in life I do hate is someone that gives up in life…. I HATE THAT.  I hate a person that has the ability to do something spectacular in there career and wont make a move!  You should always believe that you are the best at everything… even if you haven’t done it yet.  I found myself helping people for years whether it was sports, TV, Movies( parts being extra on shows or doing a line or two on a script or just getting a job in a warehouse.

I always believed that if you have the drive to be what you want to be than do it! Dont be afraid.  People think I am crazy because I have too much drive to move ahead!  I feel that I am the one to win the race at all times.  I am currently working on a marketing and Public relations firm that will hit like a Hurricane.  I am good at promoting people and getting peoples attention in buying and trying…. either way that company makes money and so do I and that’s what counts.  I love to work with people that are driven like me to PROMOTE whatever it is that we have to promote and get the word out! ……  on my own  I have made bars, pre schools, parties and promoting top lawyers in a firm to generate business.  My biggest challenge I will succeed in the market today will be bodybuilders!  Sponsors hardly pick the right people to sponsor there products and there are perfectly great people that are sitting there collecting muscle dust because no one is using them… By 2011-2012  I will dust of the bodybuilders that no one saw potential in and make it happen… GUARANTEE IT!   YES I CAN………. AND I WILL!

I feel that when my clients belly tickles…. I make money and so do they.

I really enjoyed you little article on Danielle Gardner. She really looks like she may take the female bodybuilding industry by storm. You seem like a very intelligent and beauitiful person Miss Reid. It’s nice to see African Americans that do articles in the field of bodybuilding as you are. You know Vince Carter, he is a legend in the bodybuilding field. Wish you well Mrs Reid, any more infromation you can provide for those that want to support Mrs Danielle Gardner career, please let me know. 4. Hello Claudia,
My name is Tischa Thomas and I would like to take a moment of your time to share my story with you. It is my hope that you will give me the opportunity to share my story with your listeners on your blogtalk radio show. I would like to encourage, inspire, motivate, and educate the public about the benefits of good nutrition and weight training. I would also like to be a mouth piece and for all of us Natural female BB’s that are fighting to bring back the femininity that seems to have been lost due to the use of steroids. Anyway, my contact information is as follows: (tischathomas@gmail.com, 773-606-0101 or 312-298-9033). I look forward to hearing from you.

P.S. You can find all of my before and after pictures on my Facebook page.

Tischa “The Tigress” Thomas, Goddess Of The Muscle World!!!

My name is Tischa N. Thomas and I am a 40 year young single mother of three children, Jasmine, Asha, and Keith, now ages 21, 18, and 17. Oh, and let me not forget to mention my grandson Phoenix, “AKA, The Sexy Beast,” who will be turning 1 on Sept12th 2010. I know that you can’t tell by my recent pictures or by looking at me now, but a little over 2 years ago, I weighed in at a whopping 276 pounds. That wasn’t a typo. I was 24 pounds short of being a valued member of the 300 club.
The most frequent question that I receive since losing the weight is, “ What was it that made me get serious about my weight problem?” My response to them, “It was Do or Die!” I was literally in the fight for my very life. My being overweight was killing me. Not only did I know it, but I felt the affects of the excess weight every waking moment and saw the damage that it was causing throughout my body. The next question people often ask is, “How did you lose the weight in eighteen months?” My response to their question, simply, “One day at a time, one pound at a time.” One pound became 20, and 20 became 50 until one day when I got on the scale, it finally displayed the number that I had worked so hard to see, 150 pounds! I did it! I reached my ultimate goal of returning back to my high school weight of 150lbs.
Me being the overachiever that I am, I can’t even express in words the emotions that I felt when I finally hit the ultimate goal that I had set for myself. The plan was to go from 276lbs to 176lbs, but the ultimate goal was to return back to my high school weight of 150lbs. Now, most people would have been elated to have reached their ultimate weight loss goal, but not me. As I approached the final stages of my personal weight loss journey, I knew that I would need a new challenge to take on in order to keep me on the straight and narrow. My trainer, Keith Warner, AKA, “Yoab“, and my good friend “Ken Hailey”, convinced me to enter into a natural bodybuilding competition. To make a long story short, I did, and won! I placed 1st in the Women’s Open division “Heavy weight” as well as in the Women’s Masters age 35+. I also won for best posing routine.
Feeling pretty damn good about my 1st win, I decided to enter my 1st N.P.C sanctioned Natural Bodybuilding show held November 14, 2009 in Rockford IL. Well, not only did I win 1st place in both divisions again, but I also took the overall title for both divisions in addition to winning the award for best abs and best posing routine. Did I forget to mention that I also qualified for Nationals, (North American Bodybuilding championship, Cleveland OH. Sept 4, 2010) which I placed 12th in the country. Finally, I won my last show September 18, 2010, bringing home again the 1st place and Overall title in both of my divisions. It is simply amazing what can be done if you just put your mind to it!!!
I am currently preping for another NPC prequalifying show here in Illinois. The goal is to get my Pro Card at the 2011 Team Universe show in July.
I truly enjoy doing the bodybuilding. It has not only given me the discipline needed to keep the weight off, but it has taught me how to effectively connect my mind to my body in order to push myself beyond the breaking point. Nevertheless, even with all of my accomplishments thus far, I realize that my true passion and purpose in life as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Nutritional Specialist is to help people to reclaim their true bodies back. This is an obesity war! and just as I was 2 ½ years ago, many individuals are literally in the fight for their life. It is my mission to teach those willing to learn the tools and methods needed to win in this war.
