New York City Claudia’s Muscle Talk 101 radio show interviewed cage fighter Mike Baresse of the rock band Destination West from Scranton,Pennsylvania today at 3:30pm eastern standard time. Mike Baresse talked about his love for  hard rock and how it is withering away. Mike said that there is a lot of talent in Scranton, but they dont do much hard rock anymore.  The bands out in Scranton are usually doing alternative and pop music.  Claudia replied as saying ” I hate that bubble gum music that is playing today”.  Claudia Muscle Talk 101 asked the question of how did Destination West became a band and Mike stated that he went to high school with his drummer Mickey Barrett and he was more into athletics and music was also a love of his.  Mike and Mickey are the same age and when they got out of high school they decided to get serious and write songs and get a band together.  They lost there original bass player that went in the military and they had to replace him and add more band members.

in time of getting the band together they met there Guitar player Steve Walski and he also met through his father Robert Halloch a well know DJ in PA and they came together to dominate the east coast with the sound that has been missing for some time.  Destination West music can be found at http://www.reverbnation.com/destwest
